It’s Friday, the end of the working week, and I’ve got something good for all you gore gobblers.  Are you into comics?  Yes?  No?  Who cares!  You’ll be into this comic!  Crossed, by Garth Ennis and Jacen Burrows, is absolutely one of the foulest, most violent, disturbing, disgusting comics I’ve ever seen.  I highly recommend it!  Want to know more about it?  And even see some sick pictures?  Look on, good friend, look on…

Here’s what I’ve gathered from the first issue (the second issue comes out this month).  Some terrible virus or plague has turned a lot of people into maniacs.  These said maniacs talk, curse, scream, shout and seem fully cognizant.  No shambling dead here.  They’ve got scars or rashes or some sort of abrasion on their faces in the shape of crosses, and when they get you…you’re in big trouble.  I’m not just talking being eaten or ripped apart here…I’m talking Law and Order: SVU, too, if you catch my drift.  Pick up the first copy, seriously.  So, to sum up: helpless people, insane people, brutal murder, screaming profanity, special victims, Garth (Preacher) Ennis.  Still unsure?  Look below for past covers:
