Fangoria Weekend of Horrors

I just finished a long and exciting weekend at the Fangoria convention and it was a great time! First we kicked off the weekend at the pre Fango bash that Ryan Rotten, Spooky Dan and Rob G hosted and that was fun! Sooo many people came out for it! Then everyone had to get up early for the big day! Except for me, I didn’t go on Friday, I went and saw Britney Spears at the Staples Center......but on Saturday I woke early and was on my way!

I was at the Anchor Bay booth signing autographs for my new movie Lies and Illusions. Also at the booth was director Robert Hall promoting his new film Laid to Rest, and director Paul Solet promoting his film Grace. It was a blast!

I’d have to say our booth was jamming, we had Ryan and Jonathan from Anchor Bay giving away free DVDs, posters, and items from their movies, making the fans go wild at times screaming out trivia answers for the merchandise.

They were also doing tattoos at the convention, selling clothes and DVDs - basically anything to do with horror. I was tempted to get a tattoo but chickened out! We hung with Dave Parker, Mike Mendes, Ryan Rotten, Bill Moseley, Spooky Dan, Staci Layne, Jeffrey Reddick, Chela Johnson, Mick Garris,  Fangoria boss himself Tony Timpone and many others.

Dave Parker as well as many others had their film panels in the main room.
On Saturday night after the convention we all headed over to the Laid to Rest premiere, it was a fun filled weekend. This event is always a great time. It’s a chance for directors, actors and fans to all come together and mingle.
