Hey everyone! I just got back from Dallas where I went to Frightfest! It was a lot of fun! I got to hang with some pretty cool peeps.
Jason Mewes was there, and he was super nice. He was at a table right across from where I was (the Anchor Bay booth, with Ryan Hicks and Craig Sharum, two hot guys from Michigan : ). Alice Cooper was there, but I didn't get a chance to meet him.
I never had a spare moment. I was bouncing around talking to fans and vendors – it was crazy! Fairuza Balk was there too. I did a movie with her ages ago called Red Letters. But I was unable to speak with her; she was swamped as well. Corbin Bernsen was super cool – at one point he saw a huge crowd surrounding our booth, so he had to come over to see what on earth was going on. We were giving free giveaways. And everyone loves free stuff!
William Forsythe was sweet. Although it was hot and muggy, I couldn't figure out why he was barefoot. Derek Mears is super sweet. I rode the shuttle back to the airport with him; he is so nice. The Laid to Rest cast was there, signing for their movie, and also doing a Q and A. Jonathan Schaech was super cool, and Bobbie Sue Luther, who I will be doing an interview with this week for you guys, and also director Rob Hall. People were going nuts for their movie. They were driving, like, three cities away just to buy a copy ‘cause it was sold out everywhere.
Oh, and I can’t forget the scary thunderstorms there. I’ve never seen anything like it: lightning and thunder all night!
A big thanks to Lloyd who set the whole thing up! It did get pretty wild. A lot of people were hungover all weekend, and I even saw a few get sick! LOL! But all in all it was a success!! Here are some pics from the show! Enjoy!!
