If you’ve been paying any attention to FEARnet since Comic Con, you know that this Monday sees the premiere of our new, original series, Fear Clinic!  If this is the first time you’ve heard of it, what the heck are you doing over here?  Get on over to the Fear Clinic page and check it out!

One of the perks of being President of FEARnet is that I get to visit the sets of the series we produce—and so far, Fear Clinic’s been my favorite.  I mean, Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, and little Jamie Lloyd all in one place?!  It was a horror fan’s dream come true.  And then, of course, there’s Lucas Till—after hanging out with him, my daughter actually thinks I’m cool.

Our location was even scarier than Freddy and Jason:  Linda Vista Hospital, a former medical facility that’s fallen into ruin.  Most of the show was shot in the basement, which is rumored to be haunted. Combine that with director Rob Hall’s and production designer Erich Schultz's creepy (albeit awesome) set design, and you can understand how I realized my nosocomephobia (fear of hospitals) that day.

Plus, I got to be on camera!  You can check out an exclusive interview with me (just kidding—Robert Englund and Kane Hodder are in it too) at the Fear Clinic show page!  It’s just one of the cool extras we’ve created in honor of the series-- we’ve also got sneak peeks, blogs by the cast and crew, and a quiz that reveals your secret phobia (I’m apparently an entomophobic).  Plus, you can check out Susan’s blog, FEAR SUCKS, and you can talk to Dr. Andover directly on his Facebook and Twitter (he’s got his finger on the pulse, even from inside the fear clinic).  But what do you guys think?  Do you like engaging with the characters?  Is this something you’d want to do more of?

We really hope you enjoy Fear Clinic and have as much fun watching and interacting with it as we had creating it.  And, as Dr. Andover would say:  tell me what frightens you.  Let’s talk about your deepest fears.  Comment below—everyone who worked on the series is dying to know.
