This season has been all about the ladies, with Hillary just getting bumped out of the Democratic nomination by Barrack Obama and John McCain’s leech-move of nabbing Sarah “I can see Russia from my bedroom” Palin. But gentleman and (more importantly) ladies, it seems that ironically, the horror genre is actually making the biggest leap in gender equality...

In my search for the ultimate Halloween costume this year (I usually like to create my own but often scout the Halloween superstores for inspiration) I came across two costumes that will (I'm sure) help women break through that glass ceiling once and for all!

Apparently, last year, New Line Cinema unveiled official A Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the 13th costumes for women.

Uhhh, Where was I?

Needless to say, I’m pretty excited about this find and may even consider purchasing one of the costumes. Now the question is, Freddy vs. Jason? Yeeesh, not this again. Take a peek below:
