Germans War for 'New Moon' Role!
Who knew that The Twilight Saga: New Moon would spur warfare in Germany? Those tricky vampires! According to Variety.com, a casting competition, via a German TV show hosted by Til Schweiger, promises the winner a role in The Twilight Saga: New Moon. Titled Mission Hollywood, the show will pit 12 young actresses against one another as they vie for the coveted role and chance to be part of the toothiest pop-culture phenomenon since Flavor Flav. Candidates will also be in competition for roles in Doctor’s Diary and U.S. series Bones as well as a new music video from pop star Lady Gaga. Thanks, but I think saddling up with the bouffantiful Robert Pattinson in the sequel to the biggest vampire book-to-film-adaptation of 2009 is enough for us!
New Moon hits theaters November 20th, 2009.
