True Blood is taking a "breather" next week (hahaha -- very funny, HBO), but things seem to be heating up in the week after. Eric pays Lafayette a visit, threatening that Lafayette will have to leave the house at some point. Steve becomes suspicious of Jason's intentions towards his wife, and invites Jason for a quite little walk in the woods – just Jason, Steve, and Steve's shotgun.
Later on, Jason is attacked in the bunks by a mysterious figure in a hoodie. We're supposed to think it's a vampire attack, but it's probably just one of Jason's camp frenemies playing a mean-spirited prank. Tara tells Maryann she is moving in with Sookie – much to Maryann's chagrin.
In episode three, Sookie and Bill had a huge blow-up over the Jessica situation, which can only be forgotten when Sookie is attacked by a monster in the woods and nearly dies; Jason tells his fellow cult members that he has never been hurt by a vampire, which pisses off the vampophobes; and Daphne reveals she is more than just a crappy waitress.
