'True Blood' to Pulse in Florida

EyeCon describes itself as a "fan-friendly multi-genre celebrity autograph convention." Located in Orlando, Florida, the folks behind EyeCon pride themselves on booking guests who will wander the show floor, have extended autograph sessions, attend parties, and generally give fans the chance to hang out with their favorite stars. And this November 13th through 15th, the convention will be all True Blood, all the time.

Scheduled to appear are Sam Trammell (Sam Merlotte), Nelsan Ellis (Lafayette Reynolds), Allan Hyde (Godric), Ashley Jones (Daphne Landry), and Todd Lowe (Terry Bellefleur). Like other conventions, there will be Q&A panels and autograph sessions all weekend long. The photo ops aren't just quick clicks with your favorite stars either – group shots and themed set-ups are also available. And there's lots more to do with the True Blood stars.

For starters, there's a buffet-style dinner with all the guests. And, as if that isn't enough, EyeCon will be auctioning off private breakfasts with select celebs. The Fangbanger's Masquerade Ball is an all-night, adults-only party with costumes (judged by one of the True Blood stars), booze, exotic dancers, and "bubbles" (is that the name of one of the dancers?). The Kickoff cocktail party is an all-ages luau for the little fangbangers. An alt-electro band, The Nova Echo, will be playing a concert, as well as a super-secret mystery band. A "werewolf" party game, Guitar Hero, karaoke, and vendors room will also be rockin' the con.

EyeCon will be held at the Florida Hotel and Conference Center. Special room rates are available to con-goers. Ticket packages start at $80; daily tickets and individual event tickets are also available for the budget-conscious.
