Spoiler Alert! 'True Blood' Casting Breakdown
SpoilerTV.com scored a True Blood casting breakdown. They say it is for episode four of the season, but many of the roles are labeled as recurring. Interestingly, many of the roles call for teenagers (or 18-year-olds to play teens). Actors, get your agents on the phone!
The role of Bon Temps’s werewolf, Alcide Herveaux has been filled by One Tree Hill star Joe Manganiello, but there are a handful of characters around him that need to be cast, such as Janice, Alcide’s protective older sister who is into horoscopes and Harleys; and Debbie Pelt, Alcide’s ex-girlfriend and current V junkie. No nudity required for her, but “will be seen in bra and panties.”
On the human side, there are a slew of high school kids waiting to be cast. There is Kitch Maynard, the new high school football star who enjoys rubbing in Jason’s face that he is the new “hometown hero,” and his girlfriend Tammy. Kitch may or may not have some “ass-type nudity,” sure to give Sam a run for his money. Chip Welling is a “clean-cut, all-American” kid who recognizes Jessica from Bible Study – no way that will end well.
Other roles include a buddy of Jason’s who kisses up to Kitch; a “violent young punk” who beats up Lafayette (as if he didn’t get enough abuse last season); and Stripper Ann, an exotic stripper who is lunch for three vampires. Topless nudity required.
