i went to the local walgreens sometime last month and they had a bunch of old movies such as house on haunted hill and the brain that wouldnt die and they were 399 for two of them and there was one that stood out to me it was called "the beast of yucca flats" it stood out cause i had never even heard of it,has anyone seen it?

I've seen it on Mystery Science 3000, it's better to watch it that way probably. All i remember is Tor Johnston (you'd know him if you saw him) terrorizing a desert town.

I thought it was kind of boring. Not much dialogue and a really repetitive soundtrack.

Absolute nervana for bad film fans. This movie is so mind boggling bad in every way that it really gives PLAN 9 a run for it's money. It has crappy,almost unwatchable filming,Tor Johnson as the grunting zombie-like madman,and all studio dubbed narraration and diolouge. Simply one of the best of the worst, just sit back and laugh your ass off.

This is olne of those: "So bad it is good" type cult classics.
Should you bother watching it?
Yes, just to say you have seen it.
Will you watch it a second time?
Welllllll......maybe just to remind yourself that not all classic movies are exceptional pieces of movie-making.

i have my own copy. yep in its way its so bad it could have been good. so many ways the plot could have been beefed up to give a thriller, but alas they keep slowing down the story. hell even a higher body count could helped out more. oh well a product of its time i geuss.

Real cheese the scenes of Tor stumbling around the desert are a hoot I bet he didn't get paid much for this role.

Hey! I got this one in a 50 movie collection called "Horror Classics". It rates right up there with 'Eegah!'.
