in b&w low budget unknown actors.has the most eeriest organ music soundtrack i ever heard.the music gets under your skin.like i said very low budget but they seem to pull it off.i own it on dvd.saw it when i was a kid on one of those saturday night creature feature tv shows.always like it. filmed on location in lawrence kansas and salt lake city utah.the ghouls are kind of generic but are eerie.

I've mentioned this on another thread, but there are a lot of movies that have fallen out of copyright for one reason or another, and are offered up as a free download on the Internet Movie Archive. There are some true classics on this site, including some silent films (like Der Golem) and even, believe it or not, Night of the Living Dead.

"Carnival of Souls" was just on a Saturday night show that we get here in Pittsburgh called "It's Alive". I had never seen it before, but it was real creepy.
