I was really surprised that they managed to pull of Battleground. They took an outrageous story with almost ZERO dialogue and made it into an exciting and entertaining hour of television.
On the other hand some of the other stories, like Crouch End, were kinda confusing and not so enjoyable.
I love this series. Unfortunately, I've been interrupted when watching it a couple times, so the only one I've seen fully is the one with the painting. I loved it.
Stephen king has been my hero since I was ten. He's da booomb.
Unfortunately I didn't catch the whole series, but I'm glad to hear there is a DVD. Autopsy Room Four wasn't what I expected, but still pretty good.I wonder if they'll ever do more of these.

agreed. this was the first one i ever saw and it blew my mind. it was funny and for something with no dialogue and kept my interest. i thought it was clever and it impressed me enough to watch more of the series. some i found a lot less impressive but battleground was definately a good watch.
I heard a rumor (just a rumor) that TNT will be making another miniseries of his stories. NIGHT SHIFT and some of the stories listed are The Man Who Love Flowers, Popsy, and I Am The Doorway (those alone are excellent stories). I'm not sure if it's true or not but it would be awesome if it was true!
Nightmares and Dreamscapes
Some where good and some to me had me saying wtf is going on.
Nightmares and Dreamscapes
STEPHEN KING....
my HERO.
Need I say more??
He is amazing!!!
Nightmares and Dreamscapes
I agree! Especially Salem's Lot and Bag of Bones.
HOT ROD!

Battleground and The Road Virus Heads North were my favorites.
I found myself rooting for the little army guys.
Nightmares and Dreamscapes
I own the series on DVD.
Battleground is my favorite Stephen King short story and I was really impressed with the adaption.
Road Virus Heads North was pretty good.
So was The End Of The Whole Mess.
Crouch End and Autopsy Room Four both sucked though.
