Did anyone see this?

OK, I don't know whom else to ask about this so I will ask it here. When I was but a wee lad(I'm thinking 1976 - 1982)I remember watching a movie one real late night on I believe ABC. Now, I don't know the name of it or the whole story of the movie, which is where hopefully a few of you come in. The only things I remember are that it involved aliens from another dimension, tv sets, and a family where one child finally figured out what was going on. Has anyone else ever seen this or something like this or even just remember anything like it?

Thanx

Hmmm, well Poltergeist had the tv and a little girl, and ghosts but no aliens.

Videodrome had the tv, but I've never seen all of that movie so I'm not sure if it had aliens or a child in it.

I will see if I can hunt down anything else online.

Close encounters of a third kind?

No it wasn't Poltergeist, Videodrome, or V. This was late 70's I believe. I wish I even knew the name of it so I had something else to go on, but that is all I remember about it.

I wish I could help you, I know what you are talking about but I can't think of the name of it.

Well, you say it was late 70s, so it's probably not the movie you're looking for, but...

The description made me think of a 1986 flick called TerrorVision. It's got aliens beaming a signal into a family's satellite dish, appearing through the TV, and so on...

He actually first stated up to 1982, and this is ony 4 years later, and sure looks like what he described.
