Thirteen Ghosts

Thirteen Ghosts

So, I was looking through FearNet On Demand and I liked a few of the movies on it, but I was wondering if they ever planned on having Thirteen Ghosts, which is one of my favorite B Movies. Well, does anyone else like Thirteen Ghosts? Oh, also is it a remake? Because when I looked it up, I saw '1960', but the guy from Monk is in it and he looks the same as he did in Monk and Galaxy Quest and I figure since those were in the 90's-00's, the one I saw could not possibly be from the sixties. If it is a remake, would FearNet have the original available to watch since I saw it on the search engine?

Oh, also, if you've seen the movie with other people, was anyone ever dumb enough to believe The Black Zodiac was real? Because I've met people and it's sort of pathetic...But then again it's fun to play around with their heads if they do.

I just watched the sixties version and I just kept trying to remember it was in the sixties, but it didn't work. I'm, as I've said before, a huge fan of stage make-up, blood and gore, so I must say after watching all of both movies, I still like the newer one. However, I'll grant you that the new one had sort of a crappy cast, but I just thought the house, the ghosts and the gadgets were overall cooler.

I liked them both. Pretty cool movies.

Yeah the ghosts were defenitely the redeeming value in this one. The house did look pretty creepy/sweet though. But the acting was mediocre and the CG at the end was laughable.

The Jackal scared me too, but then I decided to make it a positive thing, so I decided to love the Jackal instead of being afraid. So now I do. I've even drawn little pictures of random characters I made up feeding him live chickens. It's a very serene image and a good coping skill for fear. Makes it easier to scare other people. You would not believe how many people run screaming if you show them a clip of The Jackal and then say 'I have a crush on him' and then make a twisted smile and pretend you're not kidding.

I think it would be a gerat i dea if they had this movie on fearnet on demand. If they do they should have both of them the Original which was done by Willam Castle one of the masters of horror and the new film so people can compare the two and have a poll online which one was done better.

That would be cool. I must say though, having seen both, I greatly prefer the new one just because I liked the whole Black Zodiac idea.

If I posted 'The Black Zodiac Quiz' link, would anyone take it?
