This was a really good ABC Tv Movie of the Week in 1974. I'm not sure why this movie worked for me ,but it did. I would like to get it on DVD. It had a real DriveIn Movie feel to it. I liked the part where he lives under his house even with the new people it in and spys on the girls and eats there food.

confession i just had 2 scare the shit outta some friends that claimed not to be scared so i did alittle wall rubling-myself till this day we laugh about how creepy ronald was and me at the time it was funny as hell 2 me but they were scared shi-less yeah-i0know not nice but i just wanted 2 share that loved that movie 408steve you;ll enjoy-it

OMG!!! This movie scared the hell out of me when I was a kid. I loved it! Sorta felt bad for poor Arnold. Whose Mom puts them in a hidden room when they go to the hospital? Very creepy.

It wasn't under the house, it was more like behind the walls in hidden rooms. His Mom went into the hospital (I think for surgery) and she didn't have anyone to watch over him or something. I think she was paranoid or over-protective. It was soooo long ago! She set him up with food and then the house was sold because she died and of course, no one knew about him. So he stalked the new family, especially one of the daughters. Hope it helps!
