I was really bothered by the character that Kevin Bacon played. I know that he was supposed to be the villain, but his character was very unbelievable and not well acted.

Not much substance to this film. A waste of a lot of actors. This film left me kind of empty!

For me the best thing about this film were the special effects.Loved it for that reason alone. Blood Dragoness

Was Hollowman 2 any good?

I thought the entire premise was based off of the remake of "The Fly..."

...you know, the driven scientist who opts to forgo the rigors of traditional scientific testing/trials...deciding, instead, to use himself to test the procedure...ultimately resulting in said test going horribly wrong...ending up hopelessly transformed and doomed.

Actually, Kevin Bacon did extensive animal testing before testing himself, whereas Jeff Goldblum only wasted a couple of monkeys.

Highlight of the film: Elisabeth Shue!

I like this one for the special effects,Elisabeth Shue, and Kevin Bacon. The storyline was weak but the performances were good.

Yes to Elisabeth Shue! I thought this was a remake of the invisible man?

What I meant was that it was another take on the "brilliant scientist driven mad due to experiments performed on himself."

Hmmm...I'm really surprised. This movie creeped me out on a whole other level from the supernatural or slasher stuff. I love the whole question of what would you do if you were invisible and could get away with it. What levels would you sink to? Not to get too deep, either, it has all kinds of voyeur/big brother overtones with hidden cameras watching you in your private moments, etc. that show up on the news and make me cringe. As bad as it would be to find a hidden camera in the ladies room or your bedroom, how many times would it multiply it if it was a guy who was a bit over the line of rules in your room with you and with a gripe against the world because he's messed himself up?

Yes I got that. I was just saying that the movie had a closer link to the invisible man that's all.
