I'm wondering where to find some of the titles that I see recommended. I know the local video store doesn't carry them and netflix only carries some of the lesser intense films. Do most people buy the horror films, or is there somewhere to rent them??
Dumb question, but from some of the descriptions of the titles, I'd like to see some. thanks

Well in you live in the San Fransisco bay area you could try either BEst Buy or Ameoba they have a great selection of movies..I got most of my harder to find movies there.Of course there is always Ebay or maybe Amazon.com as well.
As for renting them I don't know most of the momand pop shops that would carry such titles have long since been pushed out of business out here.

I think twitchfilm.net carries some good horror titles and I know there is a site that is like netflix but is specifically horror I wish I could remember the name, try googling like horror rental or something...good luck

Some films you can get straight from the movie company. Another vey, very good place for underground films is Xploited Cinema. Try some of these places:

If you live in Manhatten area, check out Mondo Kim's. Most of my rare and out of print stuff, I get from e-bay.

Have you tried Netflix.com? I have been able to find some Really hard to find and Good movies to rent. There is a monthly membership fee, but its not too bad.
