I just started watching Asian horror around a year ago and saw 3 extremes and love "dumplings". so i wanted to see more from the director and found out about the trilogy. im having trouble finding out what order they are in, on imdb it says Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance, old boy, then Lady Vengeance. when i watched the trailer for mr. vengeance it says from the director of oldboy. so that doesnt really make sense to me. if someone could tell me what order they are that would be a big help. thanks.
you have them right
its so funny that your watching them now i saw them a while ago but my boyfriend hasnt so i netflixed them for him
1-sympathy for mr vengance
2-oldboy
3-lady vengance
what ties the three is the radio show host
they each stand alone as a individual films
alot of people get confused and dont see the relation i hope i didnt pop your bubble
xo
Re: hey guys need your help
thanks , i should be getting them in a few days through blockbuster. I cant wait.
Re: hey guys need your help
You should also check out his most recent film THIRST
hey guys need your help
Im pretty sure that SYMPATHY FOR MR.VENGEANCE comes AFTER OLD BOY. OLD BOY is the very best of his movies and actually gained international acclaim. I didnt care much for THIRST. Its entertaining in that its interaction between characters, but these people behave friggin weird. I understand its an underlying cultural difference but still. OLD BOY IS A TREAT THOUGH. ABSOFUKINLUTELY GREAT COMPLEX PLOT AND REASONING. You should get a kick from it. By the way, SPOILER ALERT. There is a scene where something is eaten. It was done for real, alive.
Re: hey guys need your help
Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance is the first.
OldBoy
Sympathy for Lady Vengeance
Thats the order
