Has anybody seen the new zombie movie with Woody H.? Critics are giving it great reviews claiming it ranks right up there with Shaun Of The Dead. Any input?

Re: Zombie movie with Woody Harrelson?
I think I just saw a post come up recently about this movie in another section of the message board. Have to check it out!
Re: Anybody see that new zombie movie with Woody Harrelson?
Zombieland.
Saw it today. Laughed my butt off. Different style of comedy than Shaun of the Dead, not as subtle. No real homages to other zombie films like Shaun does. More slapstick than Shaun or the equally fun Fido (from Canada). Very enjoyable.
Who really listens to critics anyway?
Not "Shaun" but fun
Agreed Cesare. The movie is great fun and very well done. Sure, it isn't "Shaun" but what is?
Re: Anybody see that new zombie movie with Woody Harrelson?
I JUST WATCHED THAT ABOUT A WEEK AGO ON THE "ON DEMAND" CHANNEL... I THOUGHT IT WAS GOOD... I LAUGHED ALOT... I LIKED THE RULES THAT ONE GUY LIVED BY TO SURVIVE...
I agree with the consensus here
Zombieland is a good horror comedy on its own. The comparisons to Shaun of the Dead are unfair because, as others have said, it's a different kind of comedy. Shaun is one of those movies so brilliantly written and perfectly executed, it'll probably be quite some time before we see another film in the genre that good.

WELL SAID DOE333... I AGREE WITH U...

DITO
Loved it.
It was an outstanding movie with great humor. It took the zombie apocalypse and made it something we could both laugh at and prepare for. The rules are pretty decent and consist well with the Zombie Survival Guide, if you've happened to have read that. I'm a big Wood fan, so I'm happy it didn't flop. Shaun of the Dead was a great movie too, Zombieland wasn't as great, but still should be a cult classic.

Both were great flicks and I'm sure will stand the test of time....zz
