ok first the reasen it keeps going to that is because its the most of it they have, if there was a paperback edition and someone has it they probably love it so much that they dont want to give it up or its been passed down in the family.

It took me a year and a half just to find a copy of the GRiMS Fairy Tales that actually has all of them.

So good luck and happy hunting!

Any book even remotely suspected of being a true GRIMOIRE would be in the hands of an institution like a museum or a religious organization. A reprinted copy maybe, but I doubt it would be something anyone would put in paperback form. A REAL LEGENDARY GRIMOIRE is supposed to be secret information pertaining to the supernatural.

No doubt or costing thousands of dollars a pop.  It's a shame.  A person shouldn't have to be very wealthy to sample or visit more interesting aspects of literature.

I agree. One of the many reasons I am not a fan of people in general.

Spooky is looking for a supposedly mystical text of forbidden knowledge. Even if the book is found, it would be a bullshit book with just the name. A REAL Grimoire would be an ancient book and even a scholarly reproduction would not be something inteded for the masses. It would NOT be a paperback book and IT WOULD BE EXPENSIVE. If for no other reason that if a scholar reproduced it, he would have to study the book in a hermetically sealed room, with security watching him both in person and on camera. I know as I had to provide a service and was in a library with ancient scrolls and books dating before the birth of Christ.

Spooky is NOT looking for the Harris novel. Which I know you already surmised.HELLFIGHTERS SMILEY

All the books ive found are thousands but in a disscussion several people stated how they downloaded the book online. Why don't u just do that?

trent13131369's picture

Yea, I realized that. At first when i read his post, i skimed it a bit. Now that I've fully comprehened what he was asking for...i know. Yet there was a disscussion on how to download it.

Thanks Trent and Hellfighter!  The only downloadable version is a rip-off version (book of similiar title but for that matter not the same as the thousand dollar texts).

Hellfighter is right.  Some museaum or major library may have a copy but they wont let just anybody examine it or take it out for that matter.  Plus, I'd probably have to do some massive traveling.
