Wheres Neil When You Need Him?

I know he's not a 'Horror' author really, but he does infuse a lot of dark themes and imagry into his writing. What do you think, does Neil Gaiman hold a place in the Horror community? I would like to hear your thoughts on this subject.

Ok... Kool-ade's fine... Just as long as it isn't Grape Kool-ade.

Thats the kind they hide the 'Happy End Time Juice' in you know.

And by 'Happy End Time Juice' I mean poison.

I so wish I could take credit for the word "netiquette", but I can't. I worked at a university for 6 years and one of the introductory classes they made all the students take involved basic knowledge of electronic communication. Using the school's email, chatrooms, message boards, etc. The word netiquette popped up quite a bit in the syllabus, lol! Basically it was just a 3 week class the school used as an excuse to suck more money from people...but surprisingly enough in this day and age, there were a handful that really, truly needed to be taught how to send an email. Undecided

Now, with regard to what Hellfighter was saying....THAT'S RIGHT BOY! YOU'D BETTER RUN!!!!!!!!! IF MY SCISSORS DON'T GET YOU MY FLYING DEATH PLATE OF PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES WILL!

DON'T MESS WITH THE DRUID GODDESS OF COOKIES LEST YE SUFFER MY WRATH!!!!

The Druid legend sez the COOKIE GODDESS suckers you in with a plate of peanut butter cookies and. . . . . MmmmmmmmmmmPeanutButterCookies. . . . and when you get too close and reach for the dish, or if you are carrying an exceptional summertime low hanging load she will let you eat cookies till you are in a stupor and  SNIP. . . . . . THE LONG SCREAM AFTERWARDS, IN THE WORDS OF THE GENTLE, AHEM, PINHEAD "AAAHHHH, THE SWEET SOUND OF SUFFERING. . . . . . ."

This is insane!!! I love how Waters_of_grace wanted to open up a discussion about the importance of horror literature, and now it's turned into an all out brawl of jokes, insults, and ridiculous photos of hot chicks and family guy. Anyway, I have to agree with some of the earlier posts in that the only "Neils" I heard of are musicians. Thank you for trying anyway, Waters. But with all the madness going on with this blog, I think I'm gonna lay down now. Recommend some stories by Neil Gaiman, cause I never heard of him.

Lol. I don't really mind it much, Super. It's kept me entertained. But yeah, thanks super! And I would suggest Coraline, The Graveyard Book or American Gods. You should watch the movie Mirrormask, Neil Gaiman had a lot to do with that, too.
