I just found these two classics at a dollar store. Love these flicks. Just had to tell someone. Yay me. Lol.

Hell yeah.  Bought those at yard sales.  Great movies

.  Now if I could only find Neon Maniacs I'd be set.

Criterion put out a great edition of Carnival of Souls.  Even has a documentary about the film and a reunion of the cast.

Did Neon Maniacs ever make it to DVD?  Neat, offbeat film.  Hidden classic.

It was so creepy and mood oriented. I especially liked the way she would seemingly return to the world of a living when she touched the tree after one of her "episodes". The movie seems almost like an art film as compared to a lot of newer films.

Yes Carnival of Souls was great. The cinematography, mood, and direction were awesome. I always kinda considered it ahead of it's time. Btw, i'm friending you, but I like Rob Zombie, so don't hate me! lol

My wife got me a 3 disc horror collection for Christmas, and Carnival Of Souls is on it. It's actually the first movie I watched from the set, and I loved it. I was surprised I had never seen it before.

It also has Dementia 13 in the set, I've never seen that.

After reading this thread though, I'm going to watch it tonight!!

Both were very good!! That set has 15 different movies on it including the original Night Of The Living Dead and House On Haunted Hill.

The wife said she got it for like $5.99, but I think it was my favorite Christmas present.
