World War Z: An Oral History Of The Zombie War

Anyone read this? It's by Max Brooks, the same guy that wrote the zombie survival guide. I started reading it last week. It's really creepy and very realistic. If I didn't know better I'd swear I was reading actual acounts of a real war. I highly recommend it.

Yeah, it was good and very realistic and detailed.  It'd be interesting to see someone tackle making a film version - then again they probably couldn't do it justice, since it is so broad in it's vision.  Maybe a miniseries on cable, like the Rome one.  I got the book expecting it to be a tongue-in-cheek satire like Survival Guide but damned if Brooks didn't go serious on that one.

I just looked on Upcoming Horror and saw that there are plans to make a movie of this book. It's currently in development. I'd like to see it, but I hope they fuck it up!!!
