Friday the 13th Homage

I wanted to remake Friday the 13th how I think it should of been remade, but before you groan, hear me out. I want to show what the remake should of shown, rather than what had been shown. Yeah, they made him slightly different, but nothing really changed. They didn't even show any of his childhood, and that's what I want to do, if you let me. I won't work on it now because I am working on " Baby Dolls", though. Just giving you a heads-up! Thanks for your time.

I really would like to see what Jason's childhood was really like. Can't wait until you start working on that one. Thanks for the heads up.

Well, I figured I could give enough respect to the product to please new and old horror fans alike. I am making his childhood based on what you see in the movies, something gritty, horrible and abandoned. And I am not using his mask on this one, rather the sack look because this idea is based on the first two movies, not the third one. I am also changing some of the ideas from his past that you've seen on websites, and creating an original idea. I took out the idea of his mother working at the campground, as well, because I feel it would make the story move better.

I think that would be perfect. Getting to see him as he looked before the mask. Great idea.

I guess I can give you some more details as to what will happen in this story.

Sure thing, I'd love to read it. Only if you want to?

I think them showing more of his childhood would have been wicked.  Man.. almost wish you would have made it instead....  Now I am always going to wonder.  FUCK!  I hate wondering!

Well, official word from the peeps that own the rights to Friday the 13th is that there are ABSOLUTELY NO PLANS TO CONTINUE THE FRANCHISE IN THE FORSEEABLE FUTURE. So maybe if they see your work genrates interest, they will change their minds. I think Jason has become so Iconic that people just dont REALLY get tired of him. They just have to get smart enough to throw in a little curve now and then. I personally LOVED JASON X. Dont care who DIDNT like it but . . . . who knows. Continue in the future or tell tales from BEFORE he went into suspended animation. He is STILL a great Iconic horror fiend.JASON XUBER JASON

I'm glad you're giving me faith on this project. Like most of you, I've grown to love the zombified lug and all of his slasher gory. I want to do this because I feel that I am creative enough to give him an honorable childhood and not a ten minute segment. This story will be half childhood and half adulthood. I am re-inventing his past to better suit the story I am telling, but don't worry, I am keeping Pamela and Camp Crystal Lake in the idea. This will be the same Jason Voorhees, but he will have more depth than what has been shown.

I am making Jason a badass, but only also giving a story to be interested in. I am not going to just make some meaningless romp through the woods. I am making  him a badass with depth.
