I checked it out yesterday, it looks to be as good if not better than the first film. I thought the plot of the first film dealing with an Alaskan town enduring a 30 day period of darkness only to be subjected to a coven of killer blood Vamps was refreshing and a welcome change compared to some of the typical 'stake and bake' Vampire flicks that are out there.

i dont normally disagree with you bro, but i gotta say this flick looks proper pap, i think it just looks way to tack for my liking, i think they have tried to hard and totally missed the point , dont seem to be any relevence to the first apart from some all out revenge vendetta thingy , looks fookin stupid if you ask , me!!!1peace!!!just being my honest self, AAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrgggggghhhhhh

I would be a really sad woman if David Slade didn't put out a great creep fest. He's too good and has a great eye for material. The trailer, however, doesn't look great. But then again trailers don't always do a movie justice. I for one have faith that I will be completely creeped out when the movie comes out.

Well, REMEMBER it IS going STRAIGHT TO VIDEO. So IT AINT "GONE WITH THE WIND". However, looks GOOD for a straight to video flick is my and MasterMayhems point.

Hellfighter you crack me up. To be sure if it's going straight to vid it's not "Gone with the Wind". But I'm sure the blood and the gore will more than make up for the lack of story line!

I love thirty days of night. I was a pretty good and very gory movie. One thing i like a lot is how the vampires had thier own language.

David Slade adn Danny Huston and a linguist came up with the vampire language. It has no basis in the human lexicon however, was to be very animalistic.

30 days of night was great..I checked out all the trailer versions they had on Youtube..there's a bunch of em and I can't wait till the new movie comes out..I will own it...
