Early Halloween Thoughts

Early Halloween Thoughts

Ok, every Halloween I try to do something freaky with the occult.  The last couple of years have been fun and I remember reading some blogs about the creepiest urban legends that people are afraid to try.  Calling something in the mirror was just one very popular choice.

I live in the city so sneaking into a cemetery is not easily able to be done without undo attention or getting arrested but I have no qualms about conjure work and have practiced a couple of times with trying to call something in the mirror. No real visible results though.

If you were on a Halloween dare, what would you try to call in the mirror that WOULD / MIGHT actually produce results? Who would you call in the mirror?

The scarier the better is my thoughts on this because it provides the much needed energy to make things work.  Feeling fear is better then not feeling at all, when it comes to this sort of thing. And no I'm not going to call "bloody mary" or "bathory" because I don't like women to begin with. Candyman isn't real either or at least he won't show. The not wanting to call women thing though, has little to do with fear and more to do with communication skills, if I could get this shit to work once.  I guess I'm a chauvanist pig but oh, well.

There are plenty of scary dudes, angels / demons / entities and dead people; alike so if you could pick one that was probably pretty vicious enough to still be lurking around...........who would he be?

Anyone else trying this on for Halloween thrills and chills?

This year I'll be working on a small maze with four parts, and in each part there will be a theme regarding this demented family of cannibals. I'll be at the end, the evil and sadistic butcher and older brother of the family. Every year, I make things from scratch and place them on my country porch, but this year I am making a small maze.

Last year my sister and I took her kids to this huge old amusement park and there was a series of buildings there, that was turned into a a whole fun park of haunted houses and mazes. I had such an awesome time.

When we were in one of the buildings, like there were two tons of people dressed up and hiding and jumping out at people and this one guy dressed as Jason got a good accidental grab of me on my butt and such.  Ok, I think he tripped and fell on me and normally I would've kicked someones ass for such an infraction but instead I was like "dude, you just touched my............"Laughing

Anyways, the Jason character was looking kind of hot anyways, so I didn't make a big deal out of it and had a good time either way and now a good laugh as well.  When we finally got through that haunted house the guy came out for a second, saw me with my sister's kids and ducked back in the building like maybe he thought I had two tons of kids or baby momma drama.

I told my sis I was like "Dude, we HAVE TO GO BACK."  I was single and I wanted to see what this mysterious masked man really looked like etc.  But, we never did go back, we might this Halloween. That's something to look forward too. With my luck the guy probably needed a mask for a reason though. The guy was probably all mutated or something.

Last year, I was the gory individual you see on my profile page. It was based around a man that creates dolls out of living parts. His name was Jasper Wilson, a lonely and mentally ill man that makes his own friends.

That's cool.  Are you big into the get-up and Halloween maze thing every year? A lot of people enjoy that role playing so much, they do it every year for those decked out haunted houses.

Went to a Haunted Fun House some years back. We rolled into this town on our way east. A few of us on motorcycles. We are just bikers BUT what cha gonna do about perception. We are inside this place with actors jumping out and scaring people and all of a sudden, a Wolfman jumps out from who knows where, roaring up a storm, lands in front of me yells "oh shit" and trips over himself trying to back up and me and the guys are just laughing our asses off helping up this poor "wolfman" that just scared himself with me. Dont know if its my lovely mug or the leather or the colors but it was a hoot. After him, NO ONE popped out to scare us ! Frown People are sooo impressionable. . .

Ah, Buff you should try one sometime with a few friends.  Like HF said they can be fun and cause a lot of laughs along the way with friends.  H.F. at least "wolfman" didn't accidently cop a feel on his way tumbling down.  Because those Haunted House things are so decked out, dark etc, its easy for accidents to happen.Laughing

Yes. I graduated from Trick r Treating to scaring the crap out of little kids. I've always loved doing it, even though some kids are hard to scare....

Yeah, it is. I mean, why not? We do it with our writing anyway. This is just a visual aspect of storytelling.
