October 2010 Movies

HATCHET 2 was yanked from theaters this past weekend for poor performance. Dont know how that bodes. Dont know if the flick sucks or people just arent taking the chance of spending money on B movies. LET ME IN was well received but Im not sure if its a success.

Its actually a remake of the Swedish movies. However it received rave reviews both from horror AND "mainstream" critics alike and is the first movie released by the newly reborn HAMMER STUDIOS of back in the day. I am going to check it out. I know peeps here hate remakes but THE THING, THE BLOB, THE FLY were all remakes and were awesome so what the heck. Its HAMMER.

 I THOUGHT I HAD SEEN A MOVIE A COUPLE YRS BACK THAT LOOKED JUST LIKE 'LET ME IN,"STORY LINE IS THE SAME GIRL MEETS BOY WHO IS PICKED ON SAY'S SHE'LL BE HIS FRIEND THEN STARTS KILLING /FEEDING OFF OF ANYONE WHO DOES HIM ANY KIND OF HARM.AND SHE STAY IN THE APARTMENT ALL DAY WHILE HE IS OFF DOING WHATEVER IT WAS DURING THE DAYTIME HRS WHILE SHE STAYS INSIDE ONLY TO SEE HER DURING THE NIGHT,SO THIS IS WHAT? SAME MOVIE JUST DIFFERENT ACTORS RIGHT? AND THE OTHER ONE WAS CALLED "LET THE RIGHT ONE IN? IS THIS CORRECT? I KEPT TRYIN TO TELL MY OLDMAN AND KIDS THAT I HAD SEEN THAT MOVIE AND THEY WERE RIGHT IN SAYIN HOW COULD YOU IT JUST HIT THE THEATERS? BUT I WOULD'NT LET IT GO I HAD SAID THAT IT HAS TO BE SOME KIND OF REMAKE OF ANOTHER MOVIE THAT I HAD SEEN THE STORY WAS TO MUCH ALIKE FOR IT NOT TO HAVE BEEN A REMAKE.I JUST COULDN'T THINK OF THE NAME OF THE MOVIE, "IF I HAD RENTED IT? OR WATCHED IT ON FEARNET MAYBE? I'M READING ON HERE THAT THIS IS SOME KIND A REMAKE FROM A SWEDISH MOVIE? WELL ALL I KNOW IS IT DOES MY BODY GOOD TO KNOW THAT I WAS RIGHT IN SAYIN THAT IT HAD TO BE SOME KIND OF A REMAKE OR WHATEVER YOU WANT TO CALL IT THE OLDMAN AND KIDS THINK I'M OFF THE HOOK AS IT IS W/OUT ME TRYIN TO TELL THEM THAT I KNOW I DID'NT DREAM THIS MOVIE UP AND NOW HERE IT IS IN THEATERS,'LOL. IT JUST FEELS GOOD TO PROVE THAT I'M RIGHT DUE TO THE FACT THAT I AM VERY SELDOM WRONG...LOL...JUST KIDDING SOME PPL WOULD TAKE THAT PERSONAL AND THEY DON'T EVEN KNOW WHO I AM AND GET THIER KICKS TRYIN TO TELL ME I'M WRONG IN SOME WAY,'SHAPE OR FORM,SO I WAS ONLY KIDDING OK....

Is it the same company/production team on Hatchet 2? If so, I have high hopes since I enjoyed the first one. Let Me In and My Soul to Take both look good, but then again trailers can be quite deceiving these days. I lost interest in Saw since the third installment but it might be cool to see what they do in 3D.

i would like to see most of them like my soul to take,saw 3D, but the one i am most looking forward to is hatchet 2.
