They claimed that Darabont wanted to bring it sooner than the suits, but I think thats just cause they started to feel the fans anger at waiting. Things have been quiet since the "great" S. King decided he wanted to write some of his same ol shit stories for the show so I think it will be as stated. October of this year. I really dont care. Wont be manipulated like fans of LOST were. Fuk em.
King is gonna write episodes????......uh oh......look out zombie cars and houses, and then it was all a dream!!!!.......I like the dudes older books n shit but his movies lack........maybe he can have the group in a pickle surrounded by zombies.......and the actual finger of God come down and save them.......
Yeah, I agree. We all know King has some great books but he doesnt walk on water. He has more than 73 books and it isnt like they are ALL great. Not to mention its the same ol style of writing after awhile. THE WALKING DEAD was successful as it WAS, why tamper with it NOW and why introduce some familiar same ol shit writing? The only good news, as pointed out by Admin, is that supposedly he will team up with son, Joe Hill, to write the stories. Havent read any of Hills work but its supposedly different in style so maybe he can stop dad from laming it down.
I really am hoping for some really good stuff! SK gets get a little long in the tooth sometimes and he can be difficult to get through! Did any of yall read the short he wrote about the zombies, it was really good. Some of his better stuff!
Never saw any zombie stuff from SK. But I gave up on his books. Last two I read the actual STYLE changed midway through the book and I got the feeling a GHOST WRITER was finishing his stores (or maybe his kid) cause he had writers block.
Last one I read was Duma Key and I loved lol but crap the came Under the DOOM aaaaahhhhh FOOK that was tripe for sure! Maybe it was with the one short The Long Walk but again not sure LOL

Re: The Walking Dead
The first king book I read was the Girl Who Loved Tom Gordman, when I finished the novel, I dropped and thought, "DONE, no more King for me."
I'll write that book.
Girl gets lost, girl talks about that name, girl gets spooked by a cow, the end!
That's the entier book that king somehow stretched into a novel
