yeah it was ok not as good as the first but a bit of a twist to the whole original story, looking forward to rec 3 and 4 !!,, the remake of rec (quarantine) done justice to the original but the sequel takes on a whole new tak e, looks cool as fook!!! QUARANTINE TERMINAL !!

Me I liked REC II better than the first one and if memory serves me right HF totally hated it..so I guess It's a to each their own thingy..well it for sure is with me anyways I'm not a huge Zombies movie lover..but of the newer ones La Horde is by far my favorite to date..I'm not on top of my game right now thats why just the type and no fluff..28 days is a good choice..that was easy on the eyes as far a Zombie movie goes..well here's my 2 cents ..so as always PEACE...

Tru DAT, Big Joe ! Didnt care much for REC II. It did entertain but I didnt care for the non professional portrayal of tactical cops, nor the mixing of mythologies that a person possessed by a demon was creating zombies.

I'm not sure if it's the Vicodin or I've actually had an Epithany..but the whole world should have to tune in at least once a week here on the FEARnet channell and let us show em how it's done..HF and I have bumped heads on so many movies we hate and love..and our best Mate pretty much hating just about all movies..BUT!!!!...here we is still cussin' and discussin'..drinkin' coffee..HF smokin' them big assed CE-GARS...me reminding people "to each their own"and our best Mate doing whatever them Brits do when they ain't typing bout Horror...it's a good thing when so many different kinds of people can come in a place and just let it hang out and say what they feel..and not worry that someone ain't-a-gunna talk to them no more..I just had to share this..PEACE to all...

Amen to that Big Joe. One thing true about our current crowd of FEARnetters, we dont worry about political correctness, lol.

I'd like to mention that Dead Snow was quite a hoot last year.  Although, I still don't get the fascination with intestines as something frightening.  Is it me or are most of the better ideas for horror films are coming from Overseas (with the exception of the Human Centipede).  I see that the second [Rec] is already getting remade here, most of the better Japanese chillers are already done, etc.  I don't see anyone remaking Drag Me To Hell anywhere.  But I digress...

Pontypool from Canada is also interesting, but it is more of an allegory for using French instead of English in Canada.  Agreement on the Horde.  Great actioner, terrific zombies.  Well received at our last "Last Night on Earth" game night.  Still love Fido.
