That while the legendary classic DRACULA with Bela Lugosi was being filmed DURING THE DAY, an ALL-HISPANIC cast with a completely different crew and director were filming a SPANISH version using Spanish actors on the same set AT NIGHT ?

Every year the small town where the original THE BLOB was filmed celebrates the movie by, among a multitude of activities, getting strangers, townsfolks, visitors to join in and recreate the mob scene exiting the theater ?

In the movie ROSEMARYS BABY, the baby is born on JUNE 1966 or basically 6/66, (666). The mark of the beast.

THE OMEN, having changed its title from "The Antichrist" to "The Birthmark," the film seemed to fall victim to a sinister curse. Star Gregory Peck and screenwriter David Seltzer took separate planes to the UK...yet BOTH planes were struck by lightning. While producer Harvey Bernhard was in Rome, lightning just missed him. Rottweilers hired for the film attacked their trainers. A hotel at which director Richard Donner was staying got bombed by the IRA; he was also struck by a car. After Peck canceled another flight, to Israel, the plane he would have chartered crashed...killing all on board. On day one of the shoot, several principal members of the crew survived a head-on car crash. The jinx appeared to persist well into post-production... when special effects artist John Richardson was injured and his girlfriend beheaded in an accident on the set of A Bridge Too Far.

Wes Craven got the name FREDDY KRUGER from a childhood bully.

During promotion of 2005's "The Ring Two" starring Naomi Watts, copies of the "cursed tape" were dropped in various public places. Those who viewed the tape were then directed to the movie's website.

The director (Takashi Miike) for the original [Japanese] version of 2008's "One Missed Call" can be seen in a cameo role in 2005's "Hostel."; he is the businessman who speaks to Paxton outside the warehouse.

In 1974's "The Texas Chain Saw Massacre" a real human skeleton from India was used toward the end of the movie because it actually cost less than a false plastic one.

Jo Beth Williams, star of 1982's "Poltergeist" didn't realize that the skeletons in the swimming pool floating around her were real, until after the scene was finished being shot.

In Alfred Hitchcock's 'Psycho' (1960) the famous shower scene with Janet Leigh was shot in one take. Hitch set up 77 different cameras because he was unsure of what angle he wanted to use and he only wanted to do one take. Anthony Perkins was away doing a broadway show at the time of the shower scene-so a crew member stepped into the dress and wig to commit the shower murder-so the scene that Perkins is most famously known for and he wasn't even THERE! The blood going down the drain is really Hershey's chocolate syrup.

The nightmare series was based on a true story. There was an article in the LA Times... late 70's. One kid's nightmares had grown so intense; he had told his family it didn't feel normal. He had decided at some point to stay awake and not go to sleep... he constantly drank coffee in an effort to stay awake. Finally one day his family found him sleeping on the couch, so the father brought him to his room to sleep. Later they heard screams and thrashing in the night... the kid had died in the middle of a nightmare.

There is said to be some real blood at the ending of the origin “Texas Chainsaw Massacre film". It's the part where she's running at the end of the movie, and leatherface is hot on her trail. Some of that blood you see is actually from an accident that happened to her on set. I don't know the whole story, but they said something like that on a documentary or behind the scenes.

Necromonicon mskes a cameo in Jason Goes to Hell. I know, you probably already knew that, but I find it interesting.

Yeah, that's all I have for now.

Melissa George has been interviewed talking about her experiences while filming the remake of "The Amityville Horror". Her claims:

It was announced on set that Mrs. Lutz had died in the night. Just stopped breathing. After that:

Coldspots followed George around the house.

Lights went on/off.

Windows /Doors opening and closing.

Objects moving/rolling off tables.

Crew members began being pushed. Some down stair flights.

Several cast/crew began waking up at 3:15 a.m. For no apparent reason.

An apparition was seen on video surveillance by overnight security as well as lights going on/off. Police were dispatched. No one in house.

George states she was attacked by a strangling from unseen force and that blood vessels in her face burst around eyes, nose, mouth, cheeks.

Her account of this entire story is available to view on Amazon VOD and is currently free for Prime Members. "Celebrity Ghost Stories, Season 3, Episode 8. Her appearance  is the last of 3 stories in the episode.

I leave it to you to decide what you think about her believe ability so as not to taint your perceptions.
