The Walking Dead FINALE *SPOILERS*

The Walking Dead FINALE *SPOILERS*

So im only 15 minutes in and im already seeing some pretty stupid things. First of all im not feeling the whole "group of zombies walking from the city" thing. It was almost like they made the last episode and were like "oh shit, we need to explain where they came from!". Also, ZOMBIE DONT FUCKING EAT ANIMALS!!!! They did this with the chicken and now with ricks horse? No im sorry that would happen. And finally, Headshots with a shotgun moving in a car at 25 miles per hour. I DONT FUCKIN THINK SO!

Good thing their killing off all the characters nobody gives a fuck about or else some fans might be upset.

AAAAAAAAAAAAND theres the prison.

Actually if you watch closely, our "terminator" farmer, Herschel, was seen at least once but I believe TWICE, RELOADING his shotgun. He pulled something out of his pocket and loaded the shotgun underneath by the trigger housing as is normal.

Did anyone else find it highly unbelievable when Jimmy drove the RV over to the burning barn for Rick and Carl to jump down on, he didn't have the side door of the damn thing locked?

I also had a problem with how quickly Patricia was overrun by the walkers when she was running away with Beth.

It was almost too easy for the walkers to kill those two minor characters.

Did you guys notice that Glenn was holding his shotgun right in front of his face while he shot at walkers through the window of a moving vehicle and somehow made headshots without A. the recoil of the shot smacking the butt of shotgun into his face and B. shooting with a weapon that does scattered damage instead of precise hits like a pistol or rifle would? What's up with that? (He was using a shotgun, wasn't he?)

I know that I'm probably expecting too much realism from this series, but come on! A little common sense and research goes a long way.

Over all though, even with the nit-picking, the last episode of Season 2 was pretty decent and I enjoyed the action sequences and inter-personal conflict with the group at the end. The appearance of Michonne was pretty epic too.

Yeah, the RV attack was stupid and typical "b" horror nonsense.

LOL. You are absolutely right about the shotgun smacking him in the face but if you notice througout the show, NO ONE has any recoil and EVERYONE seems to have become an "expert shot". The hardest thing was them shooting a MOVING target (a HEADSHOT no less) FROM a MOVING vehicle WITH A HANDGUN. That takes an incredible amount of skill to do it particularly every time.

As for a shotgun doing "scattered" damage. A shotgun is the MOST DEADLY close range weapon made. IF they are using 00 ( "double ought") BUCKSHOT, EACH SINGLE CARTRIDGE is carrying 9 pellets equivalent to a .33 caliber pistol. So that would be NINE .32 caliber bullets going at you with EACH shotfgun round at a higher speed/footpounds of energy than any .32 caliber pistol will shoot. A shotgun will come fairly close to obliterating a human head close up. Further out, it will be the equivalent of 9 rounds hitting at the same time. IF you use a 2 3/4 inch shell in the shotgun. If you use a 3 inch or 3 1/2 inch shell. . . . . there are MORE pellets. There are also different shot numbers (sizes of the pellets) but then there will be more pellets albeit smaller.

Ok. . . . . shotgun class dismissed. Sorry. Just want the FEARnet zombie fighters to be prepared. . . . . . . . . . . . . they are. . . . . . .

COMING!

NOW I'M NOT HERE TO UPSET ANYBODY OR SUGGEST THAT ANYBODY IS WRONG IN THIS DISCUSSION (THAT'S WHY IT'S LABLED "DISCUSSION").

BUT I/WE THOUGHT THAT YES, SEASON TWO WAS A LITTLE SLOW.  BUT REMEMBER, THIS IS A SERIES AND I FEEL THEY DIDN'T/CAN'T BLOW THEIR WHOLE BUDGET EVERY WEEK AND GO "ALL OUT" WITH ZOMBIES.  SEASON ONE WAS THE "BAIT", LOTS OF ZOMBIES, LOTS OF ACTION, THAT ATTRACTS THE VICTIMS (EXCUSE ME, VIEWERS).

WHAT WE HAD A HARD TIME WITH IN SEASON TWO, BEING A PARENT, IS HOW THE SON (DON'T KNOW HIS NAME), MANY TIMES WAS OFF ON HIS OWN AND NO REAL CONCERN BY PARENTS ON WHERE AND WHAT HE WAS DOING.  AS A PARENT UNDER A ZOMBIE ATTACK, YOU BETTER BELIEVE I/WE (IF MY HUSBAND SURVIVED, HE'S NOT THE SHARPEST TOOL IN THE SHED.  I'M JOKING) WOULD KEEP OUR KIDS VERY CLOSE AND UNDER CONSTANT OBSERAVATION TO AVOID ANY STUPID STUNTS AS WHAT HAPPENED WITH THE "MUD STUCK" ZOMBIE.  AS I STATED BEFORE, "NO WAY".

I ALSO FEEL THAT THE MORE ZOMBIES AND THE MORE ZOMBIE RELATED SCENES WE SEE.  THE LESS INTENSE OR SCARY OR WHATEVER YOU WANT TO CALL IT, BEGINS TO FADE.  EXAMPLE: THE MORE YOU SEE SOMETHING, THE LESS SCARY IT BECOMES.  MY FEAR IS THE SERIES MAY NOT LAST TOOO LONG?

AS FOR ZOMBIE RULES ON EATING, I DON'T THINK THERE ARE ANY?  ZOMBIES ARE THE LIVING DEAD, WHO KNOWS WHAT/HOW THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO ACT?  IF THE DEAD CAN COME BACK TO LIFE, I THINK WHO'S TO SAY WHAT THEY CAN OR CAN'T DO.

NOW, IF YOU WANT TO GET TECHNICAL.  THERE ARE TWO MOVIES THAT COME TO MIND ON HOW "REAL" ZOMBIES ARE SUPPOSED TO ACT.  THE FIRST IS "WHITE ZOMBIE" WITH BELA LUGOSI.  THE SECOND IS "THE SERPANT AND THE RAINBOW" WITH BILL PULLMAN.

JUST ONE POTENTIAL ZOMBIE APOCOLYPSE SURVIORS OPINION.  THX

I just bought world war z and am rereading it....the zombies in there eat animals.....I can see that....food is food right.....I dont see them eating bugs and shite......As far as action goes......I thought it was a good epi......

Take that small car drive around in circles and lead those fookers away from the house.....or take that loud assed motorcycle....drive off 1/2 mile or so rev that bitch up and wait for the to come to you.....drive off a bit and just lead 'em away.....

I thought it would have made for a good storyline if they all got split up and weren't able to make their way back to each other. The producers could then make a story for each character, more in depth than they already do.

neener56's picture

Cool im not the only who thought that. While i was watching i was hoping thats what was going to happen. BUT NO! Same old shit.

HELLFIGHTER's picture

Maybe if the dickless suits at AMC would give them a FULL SEASON they would be able to do that but they still have not committed to a full season of eppys. Probably because of budget. Meanwhile its one of the SMOKING ratings show on cable.

neener56's picture

Well because of how successful it is you would think they would have a bigger budget. This next season better be fuckin fantastic or this series is dead to me. But i like that they are using the prison, a lot of cool stuff happens in the comic when ther in the prison. So if it takes anything from the comic than it should be good.

thecarpenter666's picture

so is that what it is then a prison, what you see at the end of the series,,,, !!!so there going from a farm to a prison,,, how super boring i wont be watching the next season then !!!!cant believe i watched this season i must be fookin loosing the plot!!!
