ATTENTION! HARD HATS REQUIRED IN THIS AREA.
If you are logging in and are a bit confused, that makes sense, things aren't quite where you left them. So what is going on?
We are undergoing a complete site overhaul. Top to Bottom, rebuilding the site from the guts out. This is a long process with many more things coming (or coming back) every week. And Bugs, Yes there will be Bugs.
So you will notice somethings missing in the community at the moment, and i am sure that is what most will want to know what is going on with them.
1) Friends - your friends WILL be reinstated, and you will actually have easier access to them and their profile "walls" from your profile
2) Profiles - old comments that were left on your profile, we are working on recovering them. Customizing your profile pages should also be right around the corner.
3) Blogs and Discussions - we had to take a "snapshot" of things in order to bring the info over to the new platform. So unfortuanley the discussions are about 2 weeks old. Embeded media didn't make it. Sorry.
5) Uploading Media - at the moment you can embed images and video in member reviews, other areas that is not available yet. And what was uploaded in the past (like pictures) isn't available at the moment either
So that was what isn't here, so what is? We have added a Member Review section seperate from blogs. You can also review a movie on the main site and it will be brought right into the communtiy review section. They will also be on our TV schedule.
Blogs are easier to navigate.
Popluar discussions based on activity are right on the landing page (these impored in reverse order, so as soon as people start to comment that will self correct)
I am sure they are plenty of things i left out. Please feel free to leave the questions here, or email them to webmaster@fearnet.com subject New Site. They will get read and answered.

can u give the community a ETA on when we should have are profile toys back and whats up with the front colors in post, we change color ok on front then when post it g oes back to basic black,am I overlooking something or is this just something that needs sorted out...But out side tha t you guys are doing a bang up job ty...

LOGGED OUT GLITCH
I keep getting logged out by the site. Which wouldnt be TOO big a thing except when I work at making a comment and have to log back in and LOSE the comment. I just leave the site.

well were do I start?? there are some nice things that have been put back such as the update 2 the upcomming horror & being able 2 add vids there, along with the profile upgrades, & I know that this sheet is comming, but , the friends list would be very helpfull, 2 see who, is actualy on when we are on at any givin time??!! JUST A THOUGHT ?? any idea when?? oh yea, one more thing, how the hell are we supposed, 2 keep up, & or get rid of all the SPAMMERS that have come on board in the past few months????

"Friends" will should be returning in the next two weeks.
As for Spammers, until we are able to set up a flagging system, i will have to do that manually. When you see a spammer, shoot me a private message here and i will take care of them.
Oh yeah, private messaging is now up and running.
Private Messaging
The first in a series of updates/enhancements just went live today. Private messageing is now up and running.
You will notice at the top right of the page there is a new link for "inbox" this will be available present whenever you are logged in, on any page on FEARnet.com not just in the community section. clicking this will take you into you mail box where you can read new mail or send a new message. You will also have the ability to block any unwanted users from messaging you.
You will also notice on everyones profile page there is a new button to "send message".
If you do not want private messaging enabled, you may turn it on and off through edit profile. You also can turn on and off the email notifications, these let you know if you have been sent a new message on fearnet, and you can click right from the email to the new message.
So, play around with the new feature and let me know what you think. Send me a private message!
Next big update is roughly 2 weeks away.

thanks, but there are a few questions with this ?? is it new & inproved, or does it work the same way that it did before ?? as some of used 2 do the SPAM patrol !! & you know who you are !!
