I must admit. . . . . . . Im kinda/sorta getting tired of slasher movies. Yeah, they are still enjoyable but its like eating the same shit for YEARS. With all the modern efx they have, when are they going to bring back MONSTER MOVIES. Something wicked, quick, deadly, evil, alien. THE THING prequel was the most recent but they are few and far between. Anybody else missing a good old school type MONSTER flick ?

I would love to see a new old fashion horror film. Only if someone could create a never before seen monster. Is it even possible? As much as I love the predator and alien creature I think it’s time to move on. I’m not being anti-slasher; there is no originality to the slasher anymore. The naked woman running for her life has gotten a little old for me. Does any horror director even remember what scary means? I have been searching for a particular kind of horror movie that does not exist.

I was talking on another horror site how some killers are knock off-reused killers and their similarities. Unfortunately some couldn’t comprehend what I was referring to. For instance, in the 1976 movie, the town that dreaded sundown, the madman is wearing a sack on his head. (Creepy) YES! In the ‘08’ movie, the strangers same thing. Sack over the head. Trick or Treat movie well it was just obvious there was going to be a sack on someone’s head. Does anyone at all agree with this? and I’m sure some people on fear could even tell me other movies where someone is wearing a sack ……
