I must admit. . . . . . . Im kinda/sorta getting tired of slasher movies. Yeah, they are still enjoyable but its like eating the same shit for YEARS. With all the modern efx they have, when are they going to bring back MONSTER MOVIES. Something wicked, quick, deadly, evil, alien. THE THING prequel was the most recent but they are few and far between. Anybody else missing a good old school type MONSTER flick ?

I love Creature Features.
I love Creature Features. Netflix has a category for it, but they have a pretty broad interpratation of what makes a movie a Creature Feature. SyFy sort of falls in line with the giant monster movies, but there are only so many scenarios for giant snakes, sharks and alligators. Once they eat an 80s pop star or two the genre is burnt out.
I miss the old stop motion and man in a rubber suit movies. My wife did get me all three sets of the old "Swamp Thing" TV series and that has some good monster throw downs. That's what the world needs, more monster fests!

As a B-MOVIE fan i love the creature features. One of my faves is stilll "food of the gods", but the list goes on and on. I would love to see a new creature feature out in theaters, but lets make it something other than pihrana or shark based.
