Definitely one of the most WTF scenes in a horror movie ever. Not that surprising though since it comes from Clive Barker. This movie is definitely on the "so bad, it's good" level. I'd love to see a non CGI remake of this at some point so it could capture the original story better, but until then, I'll enjoy this cheesy slice of 80's horror.

The "ancient", under budget efx IS a little lame but its still a great creature, great plot, well acted little blast from the past movie. A remake is in order to make this better and creepier and "in your face". The baptism scene is a truly great, evil little episode.
