It's way early in the morning I'm scanning movies to rent from xbox live video. I love horror, horror films helped raise me, I'm not a cinema snob though. Sometimes a lower budgeted picture can have more heart than a block buster with a huge budget. So I'm torn, anyone see "The Day"? I'd love to see "The Collection" but it's still in theaters & I try to avoid large crowds unless there's a new Zombie film, can't seem to ever give up on Zombies. My first love was a Zombie with heart "Bub" at the early age of 6. Any help would be swelligant, thanks in advance.

I watched the day because I like post apocalypse films, it starts pretty strong and has the whole surviving searching for safety and food vibe but soon looses that and turns into a bit of a action horror type film with really bad dialogue and plot devices BUT despite obvious flaws and disappointment that it moved away from the survival aspect I did find it entertaining and bendy girl Ashelly Bell from the last exorcisim is a real highlight she really can act and despite her being a small woman she does somehow make you believe that she could be a ass kicker.
Bottom line, its worth checking out but don't expect to much, for example people have compared it to "the road" .... its not close.
