I'm working on something that started as a short story but seems to be evolving into a serial and I would like to know: what scares you? For the purposes of my story, I would like to know the fears of horror fans and those a bit more desensitized to creepy things, not just random people's issues. I would love to know what really scares you.... feel free to be anonymous if you like, but I want to get under the skin of those who have danced on the darker side. What really freaks you out, now that you know so much more of the dark, what bothers you? Its purely for my writing, but I'm sick of the "I'm afraid of cats" sort of replies...
