French Church Goes Cute By Changing Gargoyles to Gremlins

Roman Catholic church Bethlehem Chapel is located in Saint-Jean-de-Boiseau in France. Built in 1911, in a recent renovation sculptor Jean-Louis Boistel decided to really update the church, replacing classic gargoyles perched on the roof with familiar pop culture faces. Most prominent are Gizmo and Stripe from Gremlins, but the other cool design up here is the xenomorph from Alien. I don't know much else about what is going on here because I don't speak French (and Google Translate can only take you so far) so just enjoy the pictures.
