For their 2004 album No Sir, Nihilism Is Not Practical, crazed Georgia metalcore unit Showbread recorded a track titled “Dead By Dawn,” which I'm sure all of you know is the subtitle for Sam Raimi's immortal classic Evil Dead II. That's no coincidence, either: the band members are huge fans of the Evil Dead series, and the song is a direct homage to the movie. It was only a matter of time before a fan of both the band and the film would combine the two into a DIY music video, using footage from Evil Dead II. We came across it recently, and discovered it's pretty well put-together and very funny... and with the buzz-heavy Evil Dead remake coming this spring we thought it would be kinda groovy (see what I did there?) to drop the clip on ya.

Showbread's tenth album Cancer (which features the seriously creepy cover art shown below) is out now, and you can find out more about the band via their official site.
