What movie scared you as a child?

I remember going to see SLEEPING BEAUTY as a child. When we got home that night, I was afraid that the evil queen was on top of our house as my dad pulled into the driveway. That movie really got to me!

Anyone else with memories to share?

The movie IT by Stephen King, one I was, and am, afraid of clowns, this movie did not help that fear and that frickin' clown was wicked freaky!!!! I, to this day, cannot watch that by myself and if you knew me that is saying a lot.

Clowns are completely creepy.  But I think I'm a bit older than you guys.  I remember seeing Poltergeist and that creepy clown in Robbie's chair, then it's not, then it's got arms like a mile long and they are stangling him from under the bed and it's got this freaky grin.  Nope no clowns for me.  Whenever I see Tim Curry I can't help but say to myself "Beep, Beep, Richie"

im afraid of clowns BUT I love Tim Curry AND Stephen King so IT didnt bother me, although mom said i was shakeing when i saw it the first time.

I honestly thing the regular clown face was scarrier then the face with fangs.

Watched when I was five. I feel for ya.

IT was really the only movie that scared me, besides Haunting (Lili Taylor, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Liam Neeson, Owen Wilson). I've been watching horror since age four, and the only movie I cannot watch is IT. Pennywise is just.... gaaaaah.
