I've been out of the scene for a bit and will get back in. I have begun writing a novel with extensive gore but without the sweetheart component that kills so many great movies.&nbsp; I also have to admit I'm a fan of Midnight Monster Hop to watch some retro though usually of bad quality which seems to add to their fun.&nbsp; While I was in school I research female serial killers back to the 1500s but was disappointed they weren't as bloody (with a few exceptions Elizabeth Bathory to be the best) as the men. I've studied the men extensively as well and can't believe there haven't been more "realistic" movies or ones based on them. Though I really don't get how Texas Chainsaw was based upon Ed Gein besides the leather mask; the Chainsaw is one of my favorites!!</p>
