A series of genetic experiments unleashes a strain of fierce, blood-hungry bats on the small, sleepy town of Scottsville, creating mass hysteria. A local detective (Tracy Nelson) and veterinarian (Whip Hubley) team up to battle the winged scourge and try to restore order to the town. The cast also includes Corbin Bernsen ("L.A. Law") and Mark L. Taylor ("Melrose Place").
What a croc … literally. A bunch of wayward thieves learn that crime definitely does not pay when they steal a cache of gold, hijack a plane and then promptly crash in a dismal Mexican swamp. Before they can even get their bearings, the group is terrorized by a giant crocodile that seems to anticipate their every move. Think of a scaly version of Jaws.Manhattan's homeless population is mutating, and these "Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Dwellers" -- aka C.H.U.D. -- are hideous, hungry and headed for the streets. A photojournalist, his girlfriend, a cop and a crazy bum try to save the day.
Rogue - I’m not sure how many people out there remember a little movie a while back called LAKE PLACID. I remember enjoying it at a younger age and thinking the idea of a giant crocodile or alligator was pretty intimidating and then I found ROGUE. This film was released under the Dimension Extreme label a few years back and was pleasantly surprised. ROGUE even proved that there was a time that Sam Worthington could act, but the star is mood and tension as well as the gigantic and brutal crocodile. It isn’t quite as action packed as some might expect but ROGUE is still an impressive representation of nature gone wild.
