Hello Fellow Fear Fans:
I do believe in my short intro blog I said I was gonna check the place out and get back to you. Well, I must have found myself lost because it's been three months since I posted anything. Boy, my Mausoleum has been so quiet one could hear a corpse rot (not really a pleasant thing to see let alone hear).
Anyway, I'm back...and just in time for Halloween to. What a great time to hang out at a place like "Fearnet." So, here's the low down on what I've been up to. I still find myself perpetually trapped in the labyrinth I have named..."E-Mail Hell." Whether I'll ever get it all sorted out is anybody's guess but I sure knocked it for a loop today (which is why I'm here).
Second, I've been tackling the monumental task of straightening out "Creature's Castle" and that itself is a fate worthy of the most pits of hell. I have it all; Monster Mags, comics, action figures, role-playing games, DVD's, videos, Comics (literally thousands) artifacts, miniature fiures, statues, books (both hardback and paperback), even live "creepy-crawlies." Obviously straightening out that seething mass of "things" is quite an undertaking which will take a couple months, but...it will be sweet when I'm finished. I'll actually know what I have and then I can share it with all of you.
Then I spent last weekend preparing for a role in a friend of mine's movie. I play a physicist that is called upon to answer some questions for a tabloid paper. The role is small but pivotal The movie; "A Lady Without Substance," a science fiction short. It was fun but really strange to be in a movie. Usually I am the director of movies I work on and therefore not acting in them. It was a nice change of pace. The best part was being able to leave the set when I was finished. As director I'm there from the beginning of the day until the end which can occasionally be a brutally long period of time.
Then, just to add some icing on the cake, I've been working on a couple writing projects. One is transcribing my first novel from the written page to the computer, a daunting task indeed. Another project is selecting a variety of short stories for another book (I still have 3-4 to go. Finally, I broke ground on my Zombie novel and have completed the first three chapters.
So, that's what I've been doing the last three months along with dealing with Gorblie, Doc, Prof, Lerista, Ting-Ting and the rest of the gang here at the "Castle." (I'll introduce you to this zany bunch before too long) Like I always say; Life is never a dull moment around here.
I hope everyone has a Fear-Filled and Fun Evening!!!
The "Creature"
