Liebe Ist Fur Alle Da is the sixth studio album released from the controversial German band, Rammstein. May 15, Tacoma, WA was the sixth stop in the thirteen city North American tour line-up. The band hasn’t toured on this side of the world in ten years.
    The band pushes boundaries not deliberately trying to cause controversy. I like to call them a grassroots band in a mainstream media. They take issues from news that no one would ever touch, ie. Mein Teil (Reise Reise), as inspiration for their songs. Their motto is “Do your own thing, and overdo it.” Not only does this stand true but they are the only band to my knowledge that has made it internationally without going the “Americanized” route. They sing in German, as a German band, and set themselves apart from any other music performance. How?
                FIRE
    There is no end to how much fire a fan sees at a Rammstein show. It was surreal to see, feel, smell, taste and hear the pyrotechnics rather than watch it on a Youtube video from a thirteen inch laptop screen.
    This ain’t no county fair fireworks. This is is flamethrowers, geyser shooting, sparks, big bang, and the list goes on...
    During their song “Feuer Frei,” band members wore blowtorch masks for a recurring fire-breathing gimmick that some fans may remember from the Vin Diesel movie, xXx. Frankenstein mannerism front man, Till Lindemann wore a pair of shiny, robotic, demon wings that shot fire from the tips during final encore, “Engel.” For “Benzin,” roadies wheeled a fridge sized tank and Lindemann blowtorched what looked to be a ‘fan’ running around the stage in a Rammstein hoodie.
    2 hours of 14 songs, 3 extra for a first encore, and 1 for a final, and no intermission. This was a night to remember. Just have a look on Youtube and wish you were there with all the screaming fans.
