I won't lie, this is going to be a long one, but its chock full of awesome. Put the kids to bed. Fix yourself a snack. Get Comfy. Even bullet pointed this is going to take a while. Ready? Here. We. Go.
The reason there was no recap last week seems like a perfect place to start this week….
COMIC CON
The Center of all Geekdom, NERD PROM. Stupid hot girls pretending to not be repulsed by creepy guys. Call it what you will, but Comic Con is a remarkable event. Now your remarks may be love or contempt, but none the less it is remarkable. There is always a lot of “news” coming out of the con (nobody was stabbed this year) so let’s run through some, shall we:
Wednesday night is preview night when a select 75,000 people get intimate access to the show floor
Obviously everyone that goes to con needs to stay somewhere, MARKETING OPPORTUNITIES abound…sometimes they are cool
We took our cameras down to the convention room floor and chatted with some con-goers about what they have seen and what they are wearing
We sent angie over to the SD Zombie Walk
We have numerous interviews “in the can” (I am soooooo hollywood) but the ones we have posted to date include Joss Whedon, Joe Hill (if you don’t read Locke & Key fix that immediately)
Though there is a lot more, I need to leave you with this. I, yes ME, personally got this info and set up this interview a day before anyone else posted it, and our friends at shock (that isn’t sarcastic, we love shock) got credit for breaking the story! We posted it and the only interview 7 hours before them. Oh well, I care because I did it I guess. Where was I, oh yeah, meet the voice of Cassie Hack.
Attention Everyone April 13, 2012 you will be going to the movies to see Cabin in the Woods. The date has finally been announced so I think I am now allowed to say that I have seen this movie. It is AWESOME. There is a good reason why Joss and Drew refuse to talk about it, you can’t. It will spoil it. If you are looking for 100% original & funny horror comedy, look no further that Cabin. Go buy your tickets now, I promise you will enjoy this film.

I don’t quite get what Twixt is, but its Coppola and I have 2 hours to give him a chance at another great film.
Jurassic Park 4, what is there to say? Anytime a loved one or a friend says they would like to see another JP, make them watch the first one, then ask them can there be a better JP than that. There answer is almost definitely no.
[side note: I am realizing I sound really bitter today. Sorry about that, I think I am really sore over the Hack/Slash story.]
