FEARnet's Week In Review 6/17

 

Back again with another weekly recap.  I am going to keep this short and sweet this week, so without any further delay………….

 

FEARnet Web Series

This week we released our latest web series, Girl Number 9.  It is a ‘Seven’ meets ‘Saw’ type story and all of the episodes are now available on the site (if you live in the US or Canada).  We also have an interview with creator James Moran (Severance, Torchwood)

 

1981 30th Anniversary

We got together with the other usual suspects in the horror website world  (Shock, Bloody, Dread, Arrow, and HMAD via Badass Digest) and took a look back at the horror movies of 1981.  Check out the articles on all 6 sites.

 

Movie News

World War Z will finally commence filming in Glasgow, Scotland. The city will actually be dressed to look like my home town of Philadelphia.  Yeah I am sure I will be able to watch it and not be judgemental

 The ABC’s of Death have filled 25 of their 26 directors chairs.  Can you be the 26th director?

In news that came completely out of left field, Gary Busey was acting very Busey-esque on the set of his new film Mansion of Blood.

Scott reviewed Quarantine 2.  

 

TV

True Blood cares about their fans so much, they filmed PSA’s to help those suffering from TB Withdrawl

Dexter decides to get into the season teaser game, much like True Blood has been doing for a while now.

Games

Unlike last week, things were a bit quieter this week with only 3 titles to talk about, Alice, F.E.A.R. 3, and Red Faction;

Alice: Madness Returns launched on Tuesday.  We have the  the game review, and the totally badass live action trailer for the movie that was never made.

F.E.A.R. 3 also gave us a new trailer along with interviews with Carpenter/Niles discussing their roles in the games development
