So The Descent was a pretty good movie. Overall it was almost a perfect horror movie. There was a lot of great stuff about it and tons of action and good scary scenes.
When it comes to the Descent 2, I must ask myself WHAT THE FUCK WHERE THEY THINKING?!
Here's yet another example of a failed sequel.
Way to make a great movie look like shit by ruining it with a second movie.
Not only did the blood remind me of Sweeny Todd bloos aka. ORANGE PAINT but it also made me facepalm.
It started out pretty good. They start out 2 days after Sarah escapes from the caves and she ends up in the hospital with a search party asking her to go back into the caves.
the monsters pretty much look about the same and the scenario was obviously very similar to the first movie.
Unfortunately, it was really cheesy and it looked sooooooo fake.
It might've just been the blood in general or the way it kept getting shown;
For example, monster bites neck, SPURT SPURT ORANGE PAINT SPURT.
The momentarily salvaged the movie by bringing back Juno so suddenly;
And it got slightly better as it was going in a downward spiral but of course it was a momentary victory.
More shitty scenes later, Juno was dead and Sarah sacrifices herself.
The last woman standing was knocked over the head with a shovel and placed at the entrance of the cave and -fadeout-.
Basically the move was good than went downhill. They shouldn't have made a sequel.
