We've all heard the song "one" by metallica. Great melody, with a strong sense of power in every riff, and every smack of the snare and double bass, and every whaling of pure, unadulterated vocals that give me chills just thinking about it. But.. what about the meaning of that song? Well, like I said, you've already heard this song before. 

Now, for a second, while reading this, forget about you life for a second. Forget about your morals or what you stand for, and do what I'm about to tell you to do.

Now, imagine your life as it is now. Your content with all your problems to a certain point and you know that tomorrow is just another day.

Now imagine that it was all taken away from you with a snap of my fingers. *Snaps* Welcome to your new life. Your now forced to see and hear the world around you, but instead.. your are no longer capable of moving your body, or speaking. You are living shell of what you've become. 

You still with me? Good. Lets get deeper into this shall we..

Now imagine the feeling that you have been forced to feel. Your will to live has been decreased due to such an uncomfortable and depressing lifestyle that you are forced to live in. It is as if you are in a limbo and cant seem to do anything about it. You can no longer have your favorite food, or speak to the ones that you love and care about. Or even walk out in the morning, smile, and tell yourself that it is gonna be a good day. No.. instead you are trapped inside yourself. Wanting to break free out of the hellish chains of reality, and just walk. Oh god, you just wanna walk. You just wanna hold your children tight or make love to the women/man of your dreams.

You feel suicidal now... but you no longer have the option to do so. Your mind constantly races and cant stop because you are trapped within it. You are the only thing that you can talk to. You feel like a freak.. like a monster because the loved ones I mentioned just now have become not who you expected them to be. They no longer respect you in the way that you would like to. They tell you they love you, and they do.. but you have become a burden to everybody.. and you cant stop it. If only you could say how sorry you were. You just wanna talk now. Thats all you wanna do. Is just talk. 

Did you imagine yourself as a paralyzed human-being? Could you literally put yourself in that EXACT situation? Can you think the ways that they are thinking? Good.. now, with a snap of my fingers you will return to your normal life and think the same things that you normally would, except now, you have a new fear. A fear that only reality could give you.. ok. *Snap*
