Just watched the trailer for "Red Riding Hood"..............was I watching the wrong trailer cos the opening lines sound like they have came straight out of "Twilight" (shudder). Oh I see who the Director is.....no wonder!! Not content with distroying Vampires they now decided to bitch slap a much loved Fairy tale and give it the Twilight twist and feel.....will this madness end!!! Not even werewolves are safe, even now The Howling is being remade or is going to be a stand alone new film...but this is the synopsis

"On the eve of his high school graduation, unremarkable Will Kidman finally bonds with the girl he has long yearned for, reclusive Eliana Wynter. But he also discovers a dark secret from his past ... that he is about to become a werewolf. Now, in an effort to fight destiny and save their love as well as their lives, they must battle not only Will's growing blood lust but an army of fearsome beasts bent on killing them ... and then, us all"

WHAT THE FUCK!!!!! why is every film have to be Twilight inspired or copied. When you look at vampire books in the local book stores they all have Twilight inspired covers or Twilight clones. I know twilight makes money but come on, films are ment to break the moulds, push boundries and more importantly inspire people.

If this trend continues movie going will become stagnat and will find itself in a vicious cycle that it may never break free off....just look at how 3D is now precived, nearly every film is in 3D and movie fans are getting ticked off with the rip off prices they have to pay to watch a pile of steaming turd....the novelty is starting to die off.......very quickly.
