<p>Horror movies chased away my nightmares as a kid. </p>

<p>I've been through a lot. Sometimes it felt like my only role models were the survivors of horror movies. The guy with both the brain and the courage to escape the haunted house. The heroines of Nightmare on Elm Street movies. Even, in my inexperienced youth, the little kid who kept outsmarting Chucky. </p>

<p>I hung a poster of Fred Krueger over my wall to chase the nightmares away. I worked. </p>

<p>Now I podcast my own horror fiction. My friends are mystics, occultists and showmen. I have traded snail mail with one of my favorite horror directors. I am living my own horror story, complete with monsters. I can only go with what I know... </p>
